§ 11-37. Denial, revocation, refusal to renew license—Authorized.

The departments responsible for inspection and certification of the occupational license shall have the power to deny, revoke or refuse to renew a license for a board and care home if an applicant has failed to comply with the provisions of this article. If a license is denied, revoked or withdrawn, the action shall be effective when made, and the department responsible for such action shall notify the applicant or licensee of such action in writing immediately. The notice shall state the reason for the denial, revocation or withdrawal of the license.
