§ 13-5. Radioactive materials; storage, use and disposition.

  • (a)

    Any person who shall possess or sell radioactive materials is directed to notify in writing by United States registered mail, the fire department of the location, with particularity the areas, in which radioactive materials are stored, used, sold, etc.

    (b)

    The fire department shall register and record a list active and up to date of all places where radioactive materials are stored, used, sold, etc.

    (c)

    The fire department shall provide a list in writing to the department of homeland security the department of emergency management, the sheriff's office and such other departments as may require this knowledge for the safety of its employees.
