§ 13-79. Rule-making authority.

(a)

The director of the department of emergency management may adopt and promulgate any rules and regulations necessary to carry out the inspection and certification requirements of this article. The director shall submit all such rules and regulations to the parish council for approval. Said rules and regulations must be approved by resolution of the parish council prior to enforcement.

(b)

Thirty (30) days prior to the submission of said rules and regulations to the parish council, the director shall mail a copy of all said rules and regulations to all parties who have made a written request therefor to the director.
