§ 15-5. Louisiana seafood.

  • (a)

    No owner or manager of a restaurant that sells imported seafood shall misrepresent to the public, either verbally, on a menu, on signs displayed on the premises, or any other method, that the seafood is Louisiana seafood.

    (b)

    No person shall knowingly possess, package, distribute, label, broker, sell, or cause to be packaged, distributed, labeled, brokered, or sold any seafood packaged as Louisiana seafood which were not taken, harvested or landed in Louisiana.
