§ 16-9.1. Abandonment of boats, trailers, etc. in waterways.

It shall be illegal to allow the abandonment of any sunken boat, barge, vehicle, boat trailer, skiff, any watercraft or shopping cart in any waterway, canal or body of water. This section may be enforced by Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Deputies and state or federal enforcement officials.
