§ 19-29.6. Right of mortgagee or loan servicer to enter property.

  • In accordance with La. R.S. 9:5396, if a mortgagee or loan servicer receives notice in accordance with this section identifying certain maintenance is required on the mortgaged property, the mortgagee or loan servicer shall have the legal right, directly, or through third parties, to enter on the property and to perform maintenance to protect and preserve the property until it can be sold at private sale or sheriff's sale.
