§ 1-10. Penalty; maximum; continuing violations.

  • It shall be unlawful for any person or entity to violate or fail to comply with any provision of this Code and, where no specific penalty is provided therefore, the violation of any provision of the Code may be punished by a fine not exceeding five hundred dollars ($500.00) per violation or imprisonment for a term not exceeding six (6) months, or by both such fine and imprisonment, within the discretion of the trier of fact. Each day any violation of any provision of this Code continues shall constitute a separate offense.
