§ 1-4. Certain ordinances saved from repeal.
Nothing in this Code or the ordinance adopting this Code shall repeal or affect, when not inconsistent with this Code, any ordinance:
(1)
Establishing any boundaries of the parish;
(2)
Promising or guaranteeing the payment of money to or by the parish, or authorizing the issuance of any bonds of the parish or any evidence of the parish's indebtedness, or any contract or obligation assumed by or in favor of the parish;
(3)
Creating any special district which still has bonds outstanding;
(4)
Granting any right of franchise;
(5)
Dedicating, naming, establishing, locating, relocating, opening, paving, widening, vacating, etc., any street or public way in the parish;
(6)
Adopting the annual budget or any appropriation;
(7)
Affecting the street grades of any street in the parish;
(8)
Affecting local improvements and assessment of taxes therefor;
(9)
Levying or imposing taxes;
(10)
Dedicating or accepting any plat or subdivision;
(11)
Pertaining to zoning; except as otherwise provided in Chapter 40.
(12)
Regulating traffic or parking on specific streets; and all such ordinances shall continue in full force and effect as if set out in full herein.
