§ 20-62. Houses in which certain illegal acts are conducted declared to be public nuisances; person occupying.

  • Whenever one (1) or more acts of prostitution or the solicitation of prostitution, or the manufacture, sale or distribution of controlled dangerous substances, as those illegal acts are defined and prohibited under applicable state and parish laws, are committed within the premises of any house or other structure in Jefferson Parish, said house or other structure shall be declared to be a public nuisance, and any person occupying or visiting such house or other structure shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
