§ 22-68. Application.
Application must be made with the sheriff for a permit under this division to conduct the sale of any merchandise, wares, goods, food, food products, seafood of any kind, beverages, plants, flowers, paintings, mirrors, or any artifact or saleable product whatsoever. The application must be accompanied by the following:
(1)
A copy of a current lease or a letter of permission from the owner, lessor or sublessor of the property, showing the exact location where the business activity shall be conducted;
(2)
A permit from the parish health unit where the product to be sold is food, food products, or seafood of any kind;
(3)
State and parish occupational license and sales tax number;
(4)
A letter of approval by the planning and zoning department showing that the property is properly zoned for the intended use by the applicant.
