§ 22-70. Term; renewal.

  • (a)

    A permit issued under this division for the sale of any merchandise, wares, goods, plants, flowers, paintings, mirrors, or any artifact or saleable product whatsoever, except food, food products, seafood of any kind, or beverages, shall be issued for a specific period not to exceed a period of thirty (30) days or one (1) calendar month, whichever is shorter. Renewal permits for the same business cannot be issued more often than three (3) times in the calendar year in which the original permit is valid.

    (b)

    A permit issued under this division for sale of food, food products, seafood of any kind, or beverages shall be valid for up to one (1) calendar year. Application for renewal of calendar year for permits for the sale of food, food products, seafood of any kind, or beverages cannot be made prior to September first of the year preceding that for which the permit will be valid, and such permits shall be renewed annually.
