§ 23-64. Allowance for meals.

(a)

For each full twenty-four-hour day on official travel away from the parish the allowance for three (3) meals, which will include tips for meals, will be paid to conform with the current meal allowance used by the Internal Revenue Service and shall be adjusted periodically to said allowance.

(b)

No reimbursement for meals will be made when the round trip is made in one (1) day. The only exception to this will be when the return to the official domicile is made after 8:00 p.m.
