§ 24-7. Spoil banks.

  • In connection with any of the construction or work referred to in this chapter and with particular reference to any and all spoil banks or other works being constructed, the work shall be performed in such a manner as not to interfere (except on a temporary basis) with the normal tidal flow in any marsh area and if a spoil bank is to be located in a marsh area, there shall be provided adequate drainage at twenty (20) foot intervals, to allow the tidal waters to flow in and through the spoil bank. Wherever feasible all spoil banks shall be placed on the northerly side of slips or canals constructed hereunder.
