§ 27-54. Fees associated with low pressure sewerage systems.

It is hereby established that lots located in Jefferson Parish may be operated on
low pressure sewer systems if built to parish standards, provided all minimum criteria
for these systems are met and approval of the director of the department of sewerage
is obtained. Subdivisions not meeting the minimum criteria as set forth in the Jefferson
Parish Department of Public Works Low Pressure Sewer System Rules and Regulations
may be allowed to provide low pressure sewer systems provided a standard parish sewerage
system is not feasible and approval of the director of the department of sewerage
and the Jefferson Parish Council is obtained. The landowner shall own and be responsible
for all fees associated with the installation, operation, replacement and maintenance
of the low pressure sewerage system for those portions of the system that are located
on private property.
