§ 29-2. Removal of materials from roads, streets, etc., prohibited; exceptions.

  • (a)

    It shall be unlawful for any person to remove mud, soil, shells, gravel or any other type of materials from the roads, streets, or parish highways or any other public property within the parish.

    (b)

    This section shall not apply to contractors, performing within the scope of their contracts for the paving or installation of public utilities or construction of public buildings, etc.
