§ 2-34. Format for ordinances and resolutions.

  • The following procedures for preparing all typewritten resolutions, ordinances, motions, etc., to be submitted for council action are established:

    (1)

    No less than a one and one-fourth (1¼) inch margin shall be maintained on all four (4) sides of all documents.

    (2)

    Legal size (eight and one-half-inch by fourteen-inch) paper shall be used.

    (3)

    All typewritten material shall be single spaced.

    (4)

    There shall be no skipping of lines between paragraphs.

    (5)

    The first line of each new paragraph shall be indented five (5) spaces.
