§ 2-37. Drinking during council meetings.
(a)
Prohibited. It shall be unlawful for any person, including councilmen, directors, employees of the parish, or any other persons, to drink alcoholic beverages in the parish council chambers during meetings of the parish council.
(b)
Violation and penalty. Any person convicted of a violation of any provisions of this section shall be punished by a fine of not more than one hundred dollars ($100.00).
(c)
Recess authorized. The council may take a recess every two (2) hours from the time the meeting begins.
