§ 2-226. Department and position of director created.

The department of emergency management is hereby created under the general direction
of the director of homeland security, and position of director, which department and
position shall have direct administrative supervision over emergency management department
activities, resources, and personnel. Position is responsible for planning and implementing
resources and staff to respond to disasters and other emergencies within Jefferson
Parish in conformance and coordination with department of homeland security.
