§ 2-739. Authorized to contract, make appointments necessary for programs.

(a)

The community action board shall have full authority and power to contract within the limitations provided in O.E.O. regulations and in all matters of contract, such contracts shall be within the approval of the parish council.

(b)

The community action board shall have the authority to appoint neighborhood based organizations and other groups within the area and all necessary communities and boards which are necessary to carry out the purposes of the board.
