The Jefferson Parish Charter Advisory Board is hereby created pursuant to Section 4.06 of the Jefferson Parish Charter which empowers the council to create by ordinance such advisory boards as it deems necessary. This board shall not be construed to be a charter commission within the meaning of Louisiana Revised Statutes 33:1395, et seq.
