§ 2-572. Composition; terms.

(a)

The citizens drainage advisory board shall be composed of ten (10) members; two (2) appointments to be made by the parish president; one (1) appointment each to be made by each councilman; and one (1) appointment representing the sixth ward to be made by the council as a body upon the recommendation of the Sixth Ward Association for Progress (SWAP).

(b)

The term of each member of the board shall run concurrently with the term of the official who appointed the member, except that a member may be removed by the appointing councilman at any time during the member's term without cause. Each member shall continue to serve beyond the term of his appointment until his successor is appointed.
