§ 2-885. Notification requirements for holders of credit or debit cards issued by Jefferson Parish.

  • (a)

    Each person to whom Jefferson Parish has issued a credit or debit card shall forward copies of the monthly statement of all transactions for said card to the Jefferson Parish Council Chairman and to the parish clerk within five (5) days of the cardholder's receipt of the statement.

    (b)

    The Jefferson Parish Finance Department shall publish monthly on the parish's website copies of all credit card statements of transactions for all credit or debit cards issued by Jefferson Parish to public employees. The statements shall reflect the amount and purpose for all such transactions. This information shall be updated monthly no later than thirty (30) days from the receipt by the parish via U.S. mail of the monthly statements issued by the card providers. The website posting shall include the names of every parish employee to whom the parish has issued a public credit or debit card, and each published card statement shall be linked to the name of the parish employee to whom the card was issued.
