§ 2-887. Confidentiality of trade secrets and proprietary information in contract documents.

(a)

Except as otherwise provided by law, all documents submitted to the parish under a contract, bid, request for proposal (RFP), or statement of qualifications (SOQ) are subject to the Louisiana Public Records Act, R.S. 44:1 et seq., and may be released when a public records request is made by news media, competitors, or other interested parties, in accordance with the law.
