§ 2-921. Awarding contracts to certain consultants prohibited.

  • (a)

    The same consultant who has prepared an environmental impact statement for a project shall not be awarded a contract to prepare the actual construction plans for the project.

    (b)

    No single contract shall be awarded by the parish council to a consultant to prepare both a study for a construction project and the design work for the project. Nothing herein shall prevent the award of a contract to a consultant who made a study of a project for the design work for the project when such award is made subsequent to the award for the study.

    (c)

    No engineer or architect or engineering or architectural firm employed by the parish to provide program management services may contract with the parish to provide any engineering or architectural services for any project for which said person or firm is contracted to provide program management services. For purposes of this section, "program management services" shall include construction management services, project management services and any other coordination or review of engineering or architectural services.
