§ 2-922. Prohibited activity of contractors and subcontractors.

(a)

No person, contracting with the parish, shall receive any thing of economic value from another person for performing any service that is within the course of his official duties under the parish contract.

(b)

No person, contracting with the parish to provide services to or for the public, shall solicit business from any member of the public to perform services that are substantially devoted to the responsibilities, programs or operations of the contract in which the contracting party participated.

(c)

For the purposes of this section, the term "person contracting with the parish" shall mean the prime contractor and all subcontractors.
