Every contract for construction, alteration, repair, maintenance or other public works
project, which is finances in whole or in part with federal or state funds, shall
contain appropriate provisions for the payment of prevailing wages to the various
categories of workmen, mechanics and/or laborers in accordance with any and all applicable
federal or state statutes, rules or regulations regarding prevailing wages.
