§ 2-975. Withholding funds from contractor, subcontractor.

The parish may withhold from any contractor so much of accrued payment as may be considered necessary by the contracting official to pay to the laborers and mechanics employed by the contractor, or any subcontractor, on the work, the difference between the rates of wages required by the specifications to be paid laborers and mechanics on the work and the rate of wages actually received by such laborers and mechanics.
