§ 2-987. Violation of ethical standards by public contractors prohibited.

(a)

No Jefferson Parish contractor shall violate any of the provisions of the Louisiana Code of Governmental Ethics or of the Jefferson Parish Governmental Ethical Standards.

(b)

No Jefferson Parish contractor shall knowingly participate in any transaction which shall cause a Jefferson Parish public servant or a public employee of Jefferson Parish or a public employee of any agency, division or special district of Jefferson Parish to be in violation of any of the provisions of the Louisiana Code of Governmental Ethics or of the Jefferson Parish Governmental Ethical Standards.
