§ 33-1.6. Applicability.

This UDC shall be applicable in the following circumstances:

(1)

All buildings, structures, lands, and uses shall be subject to the procedures and requirements of this UDC.

(2)

All divisions or subdivisions of land into two (2) or more parcels or lots or the combination of lots shall be subject to the procedures and requirements of this UDC.

(3)

No subdivision plat, as defined in this UDC, shall be filed for record or recorded in the office of the Jefferson Parish Clerk of Court unless and until the approval of the parish council or planning director, as applicable, is endorsed thereon.

(4)

No parcel of land in a subdivision created after August 28, 1958 shall be transferred, sold, or offered for sale; nor shall a building permit be issued for any structure thereon until a plat of subdivision has been approved by the parish council or planning director, as applicable, and recorded with the Jefferson Parish Clerk of Court in accordance with this UDC.
