Unless required in this UDC for a specific application type, applicants are encouraged
to meet with staff prior to filing an application to discuss the nature of the proposed
application, application submittal requirements, the procedure for action, and the
standards for evaluation of the application. At the pre-application conference, the
planning director, public works director, inspection and code enforcement director,
or other administrative director may determine that additional information is necessary
to provide for an adequate assessment of the project. At any time during the processing
of any application, additional information may be required by the decision-maker to
ensure compliance with this UDC.
