§ 33-6.8.3.2. Façades.

  • (a)

    All façades of buildings visible from the street shall maintain the same standard of design as the front façade. This shall include the continued use of similar materials and architectural details.

    This picture shows an example of a building that uses the same standard of design on the side of the building, which is visible from the street, as on the front of the building.

    (b)

    Horizontal planes shall be disrupted at least every twenty-five (25) feet of uninterrupted plane. The disruption may be accomplished by a change in plane, material, or opening, or a more significant design element such as a tower or gable, or other vertical elements.
