§ 34-1. Technical code adopted by reference.

(a)

The Standard Swimming Pool Code - 1991 Edition is hereby adopted by reference as though is was copied herein fully and is applicable in the unincorporated area of Jefferson Parish.

(b)

Within said code, when reference is made to the duties of a certain official named therein, that designated official of the Jefferson Parish Department of Inspection and Code Enforcement who has duties corresponding to those duties of the named official in said code shall be deemed to be the responsible official insofar as enforcing the provisions of the Standard Swimming Pool Code is concerned.

(c)

Any matters in the Standard Swimming Pool Code adopted herein which are contrary to existing ordinances of the Parish of Jefferson shall prevail and that portion or Ordinance No. 6556 that enacted Chapter 34 of the Jefferson Parish Code of Ordinances is hereby repealed in its entirety.
