§ 35-134. Annual reports:

  • Each company, society, association, corporation, firm or individual issuing such contracts, shall, before the first day of March of each year render to the sheriff, a report signed by the president and its secretary; or if a foreign corporation, by its United States resident manager, or other officer in charge of its affairs in the United States, which shall certify to the amount of gross annual premiums on risks located in unincorporated areas of the parish for the preceding year. No credit shall be taken for reinsurance unless in other companies doing business in this parish and paying the license due under this chapter on such business. The blanks for making such report shall be furnished by the sheriff and ex officio tax collector.
