§ 35-205. Imposed.

The one (1) percent hotel occupancy tax as authorized by Act. No. 751 of the Regular Session of the 1991 Louisiana Legislature and by Act. No. 10 of the Third Extraordinary Session of the 1991 Louisiana Legislature is hereby imposed on the paid occupancy of the hotel rooms located in hotels containing two (2) or more guest rooms located on the East Bank of the Mississippi River within Jefferson Parish in addition to all other taxes being levied upon the occupancy of hotel rooms in the parish.
