§ 36-118. School bus loading zone designation.

(a)

It shall be unlawful for any person to stop, stand or park a vehicle for any purpose or length of time, other than school buses to pick up and discharge students, in any place on a public street marked as a school bus loading zone during the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., or at any other time so indicated on the school bus loading zone sign.

(b)

The traffic engineer may determine the need, placement and time of restriction, and install the necessary signs for a school bus loading zone on a public street adjacent to a school.
