§ 36-135. Penalty for violation.

  • (a)

    After notice has been duly given and all delays have expired, the registered owner of a motor vehicle unlawfully parked or stored in violation of section 36-5, or of such junked, wrecked, derelict, or abandoned motor vehicle in violation of sections 36-129 et seq., will be subject to penalty as provided herein.

    (b)

    Penalty for violation may include all costs associated with the removal of and/or storage of the offending vehicle, a fine not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500.00) per violation and court costs associated with a hearing and final judgment by a court of competent jurisdiction.
