§ 4-2. Chapter applicable to clubs, fairs, etc.; exemption of charitable organizations.

The provisions of this chapter shall apply to all public and private clubs, public picnics, public fairs, and public celebrations; however the sheriff, upon the approval of the parish council, may issue a permit to any hospital or exclusively charitable or nonprofitable organization, without requiring the payment of the permit fees provided for in this chapter.
