§ 4-23. Approval of application by council; temporary permits.

  • No permit shall be issued under this article without first having been approved by the parish council. Notwithstanding this provision or any other provision in this chapter to the contrary, however, the parish attorney may issue temporary alcoholic beverage permits to otherwise qualified applicants without council approval. Such temporary permits shall only be valid until the date of the next regular meeting of the council.
