§ 5-2. Requirements, generally.

(a)

No individual or company shall conduct, maintain, or operate an ambulance service or patient transport service unless he/she complies with the provisions of this chapter and other applicable laws.

(b)

No individual shall be employed as an emergency medical technician or transfer vehicle attendant on any ambulance, emergency response vehicle, or patient transportation vehicle while that vehicle is transporting or providing care to a patient unless that individual complies with the provisions of this chapter and any other applicable laws.

(c)

It shall be unlawful for any individual or company to conduct, maintain, or operate an ambulance, emergency response vehicle or patient transfer vehicle which does not comply with the provisions of this chapter and other applicable laws.
