§ 6-93. Sponsors.

  • (a)

    Any individual, organization or social entity desirous of sponsoring a parade or any unit within the parade shall conform to the following:

    (1)

    The sponsored float shall in design depict the parade theme as dictated by the captain;

    (2)

    All riding members or guest riders shall be costumed in harmony with the theme of the parade;

    (3)

    Parade sponsors may display logos, signs, posters or placards, two (2) for each sponsored float, providing that each logo, sign, poster or placard does not exceed two hundred eighty-eight (288) square inches or one (1) foot by two (2) feet. Logos, signs, posters, or placards that exceed the two hundred eighty-eight (288) square inches requirement may be admissible when they are presented for approval to the office at least thirty (30) days prior to the parade date. Logos, signs, posters, or placards that are disapproved shall be removed from the parade prior to its start.
