These dimensions may require modification to conform to the body sizes of certain
breeds. In no case should the cage height be less than six (6) inches plus the height
of the dog at the withers, nor should the width or depth be less than six (6) inches
plus the length of the dog from the tip of the nose to the base of the tail.
(2)
Where outdoor runs are provided for the housing of dogs or other animals, each run
shall have a covered portion for protection against sunlight and rain. This covered
portion shall have a raised floor area per animal at least equal to the minimum cage
floor area as provided for in this table for the particular size of animal.
