§ 4.01. Departments and Offices.

(A)

The elected officers of the parish shall be nominated and elected as provided in the Constitution and laws of the State.

(B)

There shall be departments of finance, personnel, planning, law, an office of inspector general and such other departments, offices, and agencies within the framework provided by this Charter as may be established by ordinance after consultation with the Parish President. The Council may create offices or departments only upon recommendation of the Parish President.
