§ 4.11. Jurisdiction and Authority.

Notwithstanding any other provision of the Charter to the contrary, the jurisdictional authority of the office of inspector general and the ethics and compliance commission relative to investigations, audit, and inspections provided in Section 4.09 and 4.10 shall, to the extent authorized by the constitution and laws of the state, encompass investigations, audit, and inspections of funds of other units of government and independently elected local public officials whose offices receive such funds from, through or for the benefit of the Parish.
