§ 13-38. Fire protection district no. 4.

(a)

Creation. A fire protection district is hereby created within the parish comprising and embracing all of that territory within the following described boundaries: All of that territory within the sixth ward of the parish lying north of the line separating Township 16 S. and Township 17 S., between Ranges 23 and 24 E., more fully described as follows:

(1)

That territory within the parish bounded on the north by the north boundary of ward 6, extending from the Jefferson-St. Charles line on the west, which line is also the south boundary line of Jefferson Parish Waterworks District No. 3 as projected;

(2)

On the east by the Jefferson-Plaquemines Parish line;

(3)

On the west by the Jefferson-St. Charles and Jefferson-Lafourche Parish line,

On the south by the line separating T 17 S. from Township 16 S., and lying between ranges 23 and 24 E.

(b)

Official designation. The fire protection district created in subsection (a) shall be known and designated as "Fire Protection District No. 4 of the Parish of Jefferson, State of Louisiana."
