§ 16-108. Construction of article provisions.

Nothing contained herein shall be construed as a regulation of "hazardous waste" as defined in R.S. 30:2173 or "infectious waste" as defined in R.S. 30:2180; or any other materials, the regulations of which are preempted by the state.
