§ 19-57. Notice to complete work.

  • Whenever it shall come to the knowledge of the inspector, parish attorney's office or a hearing officer designated pursuant to Chapter 2.5 of this Code that a building or structure has been demolished or removed and that the work required in this article has not been completed, the parish attorney's office or hearing officer may institute contempt proceedings or cause written notice to be given as provided in section 2.5-7 of this Code, setting out the work required by this article which has not been completed. If a notice is provided, the owner of the property or person having control over the property to complete or cause to be completed all work required by this article within thirty (30) days of service of such notice.
