§ 19-58. Penalty.

(a)

Any person failing to comply with the any law, ordinance herein, or to comply with the order of a court of competent jurisdiction shall be punishable as provided in section 1-10 and/or by work performed by the parish at the expense of the owner via placement of a lien. Each day such work is not completed in violation of this article shall constitute a separate offense.

(b)

Any judgment rendered in favor of the Parish of Jefferson for failing to comply with any law or ordinance herein shall be assessed an administrative fee in the amount of five hundred dollars ($500.00) in connection with general administrative expenses associated with inspection, locating owners, conduction hearing, issuing notices and other administrative functions.
