§ 22-140. Prohibitions.

(a)

It shall be unlawful for any person or organization, solicitor or agent therefor, to solicit funds for or on behalf of any law enforcement agency from anyone in Jefferson Parish using fraudulent or false information.

(b)

It shall be unlawful for any person, organization, solicitor or agent therefor, soliciting funds for or on behalf of any law enforcement agency to engage in unfair or deceptive practices or misrepresentations regarding the purposes for which funds are being solicited.
