§ 23-42. Established.

There is hereby established a system of fire civil service or "classified fire civil service" for all offices, positions of trust or employment in the East Bank Consolidated Special Service Fire Protection District of Jefferson Parish which has as its primary duty one (1) of the functions specifically set forth to be included in the classified service by the provisions of Part III, Chapter 5 of Title 33 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes (R.S. 33:2531, et seq.).
