§ 2-875.7. Empowered to recommend action to council.

In accordance with the provisions of R.S. 42:1101 et seq., the insurance agent for the Parish of Jefferson shall make no recommendation to the council regarding the purchase of insurance policies nor shall the insurance agent "participate" in any "action" regarding the insurance program of Jefferson Parish, as such terms are defined in R.S. 42:1102; all such recommendations to the council shall be made by and through the insurance advisory and coordinating committee.
